Search page stuck in a time warp?

The Trending and Discussions of the Day on the search page appear to be... well, geriatric. The Discussions of the Day are from the beginning of last August and I don't even know about the Trending ones because they don't load but instead try to redirect you to the talk/MN homepage. Can this be rectified pleeeease?

(Also, they're in a different format to the ones everywhere else. Different colour, different font. Not important, buuuuut..... )

Hmm, I see what you mean. If I search for anything via the Search bar, the Discussions of the Day which are showing for me are these ancient beauties - are these the same ones that you're seeing?

First dance - is this a bit cringe?
Second baby - essential purchases
Dating a Scrooge - yay or nay?
Breastfeeding - your stories
Partners - it's the little things

These threads are all from 2017. The same thing also happens if I click on any of our Webguides...

I have no idea why! I shall ask our Tech team if they can explain how these things work. I'm not promising that they'll actually change anything, of course, but it would good to understand the mechanics of it at least.

I'm using Chrome on the desktop site, by the way. How about you?
