I have just seen a thread which had 1,001 posts. Obviously the last two posters posted at exactly the same time and the limit went over.

It got me thinking about the amount of times a thread escalates with people placemarking and the thread hits 1,000 posts before the OP manages to post a link to a second thread. Then I spend ages trying to find the second post which may not even exist!

Is it possible MNHQ could add an extra post with a link to a new thread (obviously I mean with some intervention from the OP, I am not suggesting you trawl through all the threads Smile) or even reduce the thread limit to 999 so you could add the last post?

Just a thought Grin

After reading this, just wondered why there is a max 1000 per thread? Is it a speed issue?

Paddington - I am proud to have been the 1001 poster on a recent thread! Like you say, it must have been a dead heat...

I'm beginning to think you have magical powers, Aridane - have just seen on another Site Stuff thread that you're able to post More Images Than Anyone Else on the site each day.

You don't have any special feelings about this weekend's Lottery numbers, do you? Smile

I cannot see how many posts or dates on threads anymore on the app.

It all went west a few weeks ago and annoying.

In a word, yes.

Would like to give you a more Techie answer, but that's all I've got. Grin

Well - only that anyone who posts a thread claiming to have won the Millionaires Lottery and will be leaving their husband on the back of it will want their thread deleting out of hours Grin !!!
