There is a Royal Family topic.

But unless MNHQ is minded to move threads to it, even if OP chose a different one, then it doesn't make any difference.

Actually though, I think moving them to The Royal Family would be a very good idea. Would someone consider using a 'search' facility to identify all such threads in the last week and moving the whole lot? (Using infrared 'Meghan' as the search term would get them all, I think)

IIRC, the Royal Family topic was set up back in 2010 when the Cambridge engagement was announced, precisely to get the deluge of threads out of general topics.

But it won't work unless MNHQ move threads, so that people get used to using the topic.

OK, Edith. I've done a bit of requesting some of the threads that I've found are moved to the Royal Family.

What are the chances :

a) they do get moved?!
b) I get ignored?!
c) I get banhammered 🔨 for being a nuisance?!

Thanks so much for flagging this to us - your thoughts are very welcome. We understand that this subject is all about the royal family and you're right, we do have a topic for this! However, because this story is so current, we're going to leave the threads where they are for now. We're more than happy to review the situation in a few weeks to see where things stand. Very happy to get the broom out and do a sweep up when the time is right.

I must admit I'd forgotten there was a RF topic, so presumably not alone on that. But it's only going to get worse over the next few months, isn't it, with the wedding and the baby etc.
(Also annoyed at the growing use of AIBU for 'traffic', but that's another thread.....)
