Is now a good time to mention Nits?

Because our brand new book How to Blitz Nits and Other Nasties, published by Bloomsbury, is out now!

It’s a pocket guide on how to defeat ten common childhood nasties, from the dreaded nits , to threadworm to how best to extract foreign objects , written by our very own @IonaMumsnet and based on the wisdom of brilliant Mumsnetters, so thank you Flowers.

You can buy a copy over on Amazon or visit the Bloomsbury website for a 35% discount for Mumsnetters - just enter the code NITS at the checkout and do let us know what you think.

Just out of interest, do users get told when their quotes are used in print?

Report
SecretNutellaFix · 25/08/2017 17:43

From remembering previous publications, I don't believe they do peace

Is it just quotes from here? Seems a bit expensive if so or is there more to it?

Surely people just google these things now?

I think it will be largely quotes, because this is part of the blurb describing Mumsnet

"Its members are highly engaged, loyal, active and passionate about the site."

Not a happy bunny. All threads that contain nits or worms or any such irritatant should be preceeded by a scratch warning.

I can't be the only one that subconciously starts scratching at the simple suggestion of nits.

MN owns everything you post. (See the TS and C's). So presumably no royalties Sad

No, you're not. But at least nits make you scratch your head. Just be glad it's not threadworms stickied in the title.
