Hi MNHQ, I sent you an email, but I've managed to post this by using the native Internet on my phone. I can't log in or load the desktop MN using Chrome on Android (Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, if that helps). It just refreshed the page.

Hi there Lougle! We just got your SOS in our reports inbox. And no, fear not, you definitely haven't been banned. I've just asked ToniMumsnet who is our resident Useful Sort at this kind of thing. She thinks you might find that your android needs some updates. Could you try checking for updates and maybe turning everything on and off again afterwards. If you're using the app at all, it might be the same issue as for Chrome/Safari - just that it needs those updates doing. As you've managed to log on using your phone we're pretty sure it's not a problem with your Mumsnet account. Give that a go and if no joy drop us another line and we'll go and hoik Tech out of the pub to have a look.

Hi Iona, my phone says android is up to date, and Chrome has no updates to install. I've turned my phone on and off also. I still can't log in or load the desktop site on Chrome. The Mumsnet account is working on the internet though.

Sorry to hear this, Lougle. We're passing this on to Tech now. We'll be back with an update soon hopefully.

Hi Lougle,

Can you tell us whether this is still a problem for you now?
We had some issues yesterday with our data centre which are resolved now. It's possible this may have been the root of your difficulties.

Hooray! I just tried Chrome again and I'm back! I've tested logging out and logging in, and all is well. Thank you!
