Horrible moving adverts are really affecting my vision and I'm going to have to give up mumsnet if they continue, It's super trippy on the brain.

They don't set my migraines off but they are really annoying.
Could you put a strip of card across the top - small bit of bluetack or hold with thumb?

It's the ones that jiggle down the sides while you're trying to scroll that are the worst.

Do you have to pay for adblocker?

Hi all,

We really appreciate that many MNers are finding some ads on the site intrusive- but as Mumsnet is a free-to-use site, we do rely on advertising revenue to keep the lights on.

That's not to say we don't want to hear from you if an ad is hampering your ability to use the site - we're always striving to get the balance right. If you think there's something awry with how the ads are behaving, please take a screenshot and drop us a line at [email protected] along with details of your browser, device and how it is impacting the usability of the site.

No one said they were intrusive. I said causing migraine and visual disturbance.

I'll not waste my time with screen shots and correspondence if you don't mind, fairly obvious from the replies on this and other threads raising the issue that you won't be doing anything about it.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Sorry, Snap8TheCat.

Please do email any issues over to adops (intrusive or otherwise) - they are always more than happy to take a look.
