tribpot Mon 17-Apr-17 22:16:09

Yes, good idea - if you report the thread it'll bring it to MN's attention and then they can add it to the list for the next update.

Hello!

We've passed this over to content.

They're going to look into adding PBP to the list very soon! grin

The Secret Service Does Not Comment On Procedure. I believe it started with the TV programme, The West Wing?

But it became a well known acronym used by MNHQ a few years ago - whenever any of us asked what had happened!!

What actually causes a poster to be banned? What are the actual rules?

Just curious!

KatherineMumsnet (MNHQ) Tue 25-Apr-17 10:38:04

Hi HelenaDove,

Generally, we ban if a poster persistently breaks Talk Guidelines, or otherwise proves to be a troll. <helpful>
