Switched to the app recently because I got sick of waiting for pages to load up.
Miss parts of the website tho.

what bits aren't there on the app?

I swapped to the app a few weeks ago due to mobile site not loading and I love it. Really quick, cleaner and no ads!

I like the app but it doesn't have Pms Which is annoying. I find it loads faster although it is more of a battery killer than the mobile website.

Website on my laptop.

The screen is so much bigger, I can read so much more!

I use my desktop. Despite the slowness of loading and all the ads, I still prefer it.
I have the app on my android tablet, but I don't like the inability to hide threads, and the list of TIO does not give as much info. I just find it really clunky to use.
I only every use the talk bits of MN regardless.

I use the mobile version of the website as I tried the app a few years ago and it was ridiculously bad. Has it improved?

I use the website on my desktop and the mobile website on my mobile.

I have it open in my browser on my laptop but I have the app on my phone and iPad. All options covered here.

Mobile Web version on my phone, if it gets changed to the desktop version for some reason I can't use it and have to change it back.
Desktop version on my ipad. I've never thought about it, this is just the version it loads, I've just changed it to the mobile version as I prefer it using my phone for MN to my ipad.

Mobile on my phone, tried the app years ago and didn't like it. I use desktop on a desktop sometimes but prefer not to as I get sucked into topics I've hidden (most of them) by the trending box.

Desktop version with adblocker here too .... currently showing 7 blocked ads as I type.

Warning: unashamed plug

Incase anyone is interested in trying either of the Mumsnet Talk apps, here is the iOS Talk App and the Android Talk App. In 2015 we totally re-wrote the iOS app, and it's significantly better than the previous (disclaimer: I'm Mumsnet's iOS developer), the first version of the Android app was released a few months ago, so has some catching up to do...

We've tried to keep the apps as clean and usable as possible, but we're constantly working on new features, so your feedback is really useful! In particular I'd love to know:

1. What features would you like to see next in the app?
2. If you aren't a fan, how come?

I use the iOS app almost entirely.

I use mobile site on Safari. I never got on with the app because Threads I'm On is such a PITA.
But recently the mobile site has been forcing me into the app which is really annoying.

Website on laptop.

I tend not to use MN or any other sites on my phone.

Website on laptop mostly.

I have the android app on my phone, but I find it doesn't work that well - specifically, I can't see Threads I'm On which is annoying.

When I MN on my phone I use the mobile version of the website.

2. If you aren't a fan, how come?

I don't know if it's changed, but when I tried it I found I couldn't customise the same way I can customise the mobile site and sticky threads really get on my nerves.

It's also a bit 'clunky'.

Great, that's all helpful, thanks! FYI, the TIO issue is probably due to app is currently forced to load all the threads you're on from the last few days, so performs really slowly. I'll release a fix with paged threads for that soonish.

Does the website have a way of handling TIO that you prefer?

Laptop only. Still too paranoid of being spotted reading mn in public so never on my phone.

The TIO on the mobile site gives you a brief preview of the last few posts. So you can see whether they all say "thinking of you hun", or "I agree with SUPREMECommander", or "lol" or "the tax inspector has just come home and he has a gun!".

Saves a huge amount of time in deciding whether you can be arsed to return to the thread or not.
