Please, please, please?

I'd like Jenni Murray in regardless - but she's got so many fascinating things to talk about that it might be sad if her webchat became entirely trans-issues dominated?

Maybe some sort of quota?

I would love to have Jenni Murray do a MN web chat as well.
The issues of sex and gender and women's spaces are much discussed on the Feminism boards as you know, and Jenni probably won't be able to have that discussion so easily on the BBC.
It was telling that Prue Leith on Broadcasting House this morning was worrying that Jenni shouldn't have written the Times article because she was likely to be trolled. I hope she won't be. But for many of us the fear of trolling and other social media abuse is why Mumsnet is our 'safe space' for discussing these issues.
I hope Jenni doesn't get the threats and abuse, but sadly I think it is inevitable. Inviting her to chat with us could be an antidote to that.

Yes, has she ever done one? She'd be a great choice. Agree that it shouldn't be dominated by trans issues, though of course that will be part of it - but I'd like to see her talking about women in the workplace, caring responsibilities, women in Parliament etc etc too.

She'd be brilliant for tonnes of reasons - including this latest article.

I'm pretty sure HQ have enough DC between them to be immune to toddler-style batting of eyelashes, but just in case not

Yes please. I'd love to take part in a web chat with Jenni.

In return I can give access to my gin cupboard ... ... ...

Hmm, I'd like to ask why she felt the need to write this snidey little article in the DM about Mumsnet a couple of years ago. The usual anti-woman drivel you'd expect from DM but I was so disappointed to hear it from JM.

DM article

I'd love to see Jenni Murray on for a webchat, perhaps two. The first to discuss her views and experience relating to today's article on transwomen and the second to talk about her Woman's Hour experience: how women's lives and expectations have changed since she first started hosting the show.
