IOS app cannot hide threads

You hide them they reappear as soon as you refresh. Is this happening to anyone else..I know it's a 1st world problem but it's an irritating one!

Ack, how annoying. Can we ask you first of all to clear you cache and cookies, as that might be causing the snarl up? And then if that doesn't fix it, could you tell us what phone etc and we can check it out our end?

I'm having this happen on both the mobile site and desktop site too. I tried to hide the CTM thread to avoid spoilers, hid it 3x but it hasn't stayed hidden! I have caught up now so no need but it just seems like the hide function has stopped working.

Hi there you two.
Tech needs to know exactly which threads you tried to hide (we are racking our brains as to what CTM stands for) and where you are seeing it appear? Is it on Active Threads, a pinned thread etc. Basically what did you try to hide and where are you seeing it?

Oh sorry! Call the midwife.

I tried to hide it twice from Active on the mobile site, using the little dots. Then I thought I tried to hide it from Threads I'm On but I don't think I did actually as there's no quick link.

Just checked hiding from active using the minus sign and hiding from the thread itself using the hide thread link and both of those work on desktop.

Just checked hiding a random thread from Chat in Mobile - "OMG I tried the bra intervention". It disappears from the list in active but when I go onto the desktop site and refresh it's still there. Can see in topic list on mobile site now too (unsure if in active on mobile as the threads are moving too fast)

Going into Customise/Manage hidden threads, I can see the ones I've hidden from the desktop site and unhide them, but the ones I tried to hide from the mobile site are not there at all.

I went into threads I'm on in the app 'dp kicked out cat' and side swiped chose 'hide'

Refresh and everything I've hidden comes back.

This should not be happening!

Could you try hide something, give it a few minutes before checking and then let us know if it's still appearing?

Hello!

Not great news, I'm afraid...

Tech is, at this time, unable to replicate this issue. Without identifying it, they can't fix it.

We'll keep an eye open for more reports but we're going to have to put this on hold until we get more reports of this/tech can replicate the problem.

Really, really sorry.
