Seasons greetings one and all

We're happy to announce our new Talk App for Android is now ready to go and available for download from the Google Play store, just in time for Christmas too.

As this is our first crack at the Android version, we will be adding more features and updates as we go along. At this stage we'd really appreciate your feedback (good and bad...) about using the app and if it's working for you. Let us know how you get on.

Many thanks to all of our testers. Please delete the test app and download this one instead.

the o ly thing I dislike is "Threads I'm on" and not being able to see replies without clicking and scrolling. I like the little preview you get on pc.

I like the simplicity of it. Not too many buttons for my fat fingers to catch
I would like the option to change the colour of the main pages - purple is a bit dark for me.
On a long thread it takes ages to scroll down. Could we have it where a thread is set out in pages like on the main site or an option to scroll to the last viewed post or even the ability to flip the thread?
Can we highlight OP's comments as well please so that it's easier to find replies?

I like how the OP's comments are in a different colour from everyone else. How you can quickly refer back to OP when typing a reply. Emojis are easy as is different types of texts.

Like the layout but won't use it until the bookmark feature is working, as half the threads I'm watching have hundreds of posts and it doesn't take you to where you left off so not really useable.

Took several attempts to login, but am on now.

White script on a purple background is very difficult to read - please look at this. It will be prohibitive for people with sight issues in particular.

How do I customise it so the OP threads and mine are shown in different colours. Everything is on a white background at the moment

There is a bit of a bug - in my 'I'm On' list of chats if I click on one it takes me to a different chat.
