Too Dull? Really?

I've just seen a thread deleted for being too dull.

I don't know why but this has annoyed me.

If the thread was started by an unoriginal and boring troll then just say so. (it was Jaxon baby name thread).

If by some chance it was a genuine poster...I'm sorry, but that is just fucking mean.

It was a poor explanation for pulling a thread.

But if the OP was a PBP, why wasn't the deletion message "deleted because the OP is a PBP" - or whatever.

Deletion message saying 'dull'. Weird.

Ok noted sorry - I'm assuming it was a troll but possibly the message was a bit subtle.

If dull really is a reason for deletion I'm in deep shit.

My last thread was about bread bins.

Yes quite, me too. Mine was about ad formats.

i am interested that a thread about Cornish Pasty shoes was suggested to be ( and I hate hate hate this word ' goady') yet one about a cafe being working class was hilarious enough to go into Classics

Since when did mumsnetters become so enfeebled that they cant have a laugh and move on? What is goading about laughing about pasty shaped shoes?
