Hidden topics, Threads I'm On and Moved Threads

I suspect I am not alone in having hidden the Referendum topic :)

However, I've noticed that an AIBU thread I posted on has been moved to the referendum topic but still shows in Threads I'm On.

Is this a deliberate thing or a quirk of moved threads?

It's somewhere under Customise.

Right at the bottom "Ignore topics in Active Conversations"

Quirk. Threads moved to OTBT also show up on Google iirc.

However, it's helpful when for example Woolly Hugs appeals are deliberately started in _Chat (I think) for traffic and then later moved to the WH board, but they stay on your TIO.

But it would only be helpful if you've hidden the woolly hugs topic.

I expected threads I've posted on to vanish from TIO if they are moved to a topic I have hidden. There must be something that is identifying them as still being in the original topic.

I don't care mind you I was curious :)

Good point. Lost my train of thought there.

Tbh though I still get hidden threads in my TIO, just not in Active. I don't tend to visit individual boards unless I'm starting a thread so I wouldn't know about what appears there.
