Hello

The Miscarriage Priority Setting Partnership is bringing together women who have experienced miscarriage, others affected by miscarriage and clinicians who care for them.

They have opened a new survey to give everyone affected by miscarriage and recurrent miscarriage the chance to prioritise unanswered questions about the condition. From the responses, the top 10 unanswered questions about miscarriage will be identified.

The survey is open to all health and social care professionals caring for women who have experienced miscarriage, as well as women, their partners and families.

Please visit this link until 1 August to participate or for more information.

Thanks
MNHQ

Thanks Bojana - filled this in. Shame there were typos in the questions and also that some of the questions weren't well thought through eg what stage in terms of weeks did you miscarry - mine was missed meat around 5-7 weeks and not discovered until 12 week scan, so I could have ticked all the boxes.

I started the questionnaire but found it hard to prioritise the research questions because several contained references to support for both partners and whilst I think support for both are important I don't think they are of equal importance.

The areas of research also overlap eg there are several that refer to research into methods of prevention and several that refer to post miscarriage care.

Plus there are some that refer to areas we seem to have quite good evidence on already afaik but it doesn't say that. Eg fertility after different methods of treatment irc the MIST mc study showed fertility levels were the same in five years across all treatment methods.
