*MNHQ* Could we have a Republicans topic please?

In the interests of fairness, since we already have a topic on the Royal Family. And apparently you are only allowed to post there if you love them and wear Union Jack knickers.

Also it would be good to have a devoted topic for me to moan on next time one of them has a birthday/gets married/drops a sprog/farts.

Please smile

Sounds a great idea to me.

<<somewhat relieved this wasn't an American request for a board to big-up Trump's campaign>>

LaConnerie Sat 11-Jun-16 18:31:41

grin

(Shamelessly keeping thread going...)

LaConnerie Sat 11-Jun-16 18:33:21

Got my own trump campaign going on here after my Saturday night curry, don't need to big-up anyone else's..

<childish>

LaConnerie Sat 11-Jun-16 18:35:13

But yes, maybe it should be 'UK Republicans - no trumps allowed'

Sparklingbrook Sat 11-Jun-16 18:37:17

If all the anti Royalty stuff was contained within it I am all for it. I can then hide it. smile

LaConnerie Sat 11-Jun-16 18:38:19

Not and never true.

Sparklingbrook Sat 11-Jun-16 18:42:23

It's got to the point that whenever the Royals get mentioned on MN it always ends up the same way. It's all a bit P&C parking/Groundhog Day really.

LaConnerie Sat 11-Jun-16 18:43:06

Prove it Queenie !

Thank you Edith - have just attempted to ressurect your thread smile

SilverBirchWithout Sat 11-Jun-16 18:53:35

But yes, maybe it should be 'UK Republicans - no trumps allowed'. I might struggle to adher to those sort of exclusive rules grin

QueenEdith Sat 11-Jun-16 18:58:38

LaConnerie hadn't seen your challenge before I posted my previous. Here's a handful. There are others, plus various neutral ones which could have gone either way (because it's never been a place for sycophants with any particular type of knickers)
