Multi posting glitch on the app

The app keeps lying to me.

It gives me an "oops your post failed to post" type message, so I retry until it goes through, but often when I return to the thread view, ALL of the attempts have posted.

It's turning me into s thread-bomber

(-1001) at the moment? Don't believe it. Press OK, close the posting box (It will stay 'live' until you move to a different board) and then either check on the main site in your browser or just wait to see if your post appears on the thread.

Only about 1 in 100 error messages are genuine at the moment. Don't trust them!

It was very bad for this about a month or two ago. Then it started again - different error number - late last month. I seem to recall starting a thread about it at that time.

Hey Ho. Just assume it's wrong and wait until the post appears on the thread. You'll rarely be proved wrong. (I think there's been a genuine error only once for me since it started playing up again.)

I suspect this error is something to do with signal strength/traffic at any one time. It seems to take a long time before it makes up its mind to give you the 'Oops' message so it's almost as if there's a delay, it decides it's failed but then the post sneaks through anyway.

The -1001 error means that the request is timing out, usually this is because your connection is slow, but it shouldn't be posting anyway. We're working to fix the issue, thanks for your patience!
