Top third of screen white

Sorry if this has been done before but I'm back after a spell away, and this is annoying me... When I open a thread everything appears fine, then it finishes loading and shunts 1/3 of the way down the page (which, when you've found where you want to be on a thread, bumps you out of position!). I've got ad-blockers - is this an ad coming up but being blanked out?

This does sound annoying indeed, and may well be to do with ad blockers. Can we ask what device and browser you're using please?

Hi mistlethrush - this certainly looks like an ad blocker issue. Just to clarify, the thread loads normally and then will suddenly load the ad (or white space)? Does this happen fairly quickly after the thread has loaded?

It's about 3 sec after first loading... just long enough to start reading a post and then lose it as it all shifts!
