See I think it just looks happy and friendly smile A head tilt could work!

ArkhamOffitt Thu 22-Oct-15 19:30:10

Or they could just ask you and you'd say no, I really mean that smile or of course it's a sarky smile

^^See MNHQ! Winchester has even figured out the way for us to use it! grin

I don't think they're all PA. I just think of them as smileys. The same way as you would smile as someone in RL if you said something. I think some people only use them in a PA way which is may be where the confusion comes from.

RJnomaaaaaargh Thu 22-Oct-15 19:40:33

I wasn't really humming at you btw I was just demonstrating

Ah but think how much more you would like it if it was tilted >> wink

ArkhamOffitt Thu 22-Oct-15 20:24:40

The fun is in the ambiguity. Like the flowers on a Dramatic Troll thread.

Debinaround Thu 22-Oct-15 20:27:33

Are you kidding me? I did not know that a smile Could be taken as PA. Ffs. Sorry to everyone I have offended.

Hmm.
Not sure that having a smiley just for Passive Aggression is in the spirit of the site.
Peace and love and all that, non?

You do know I'm trawling through old threads now trying to see who has smile ed at me and I thought they were just being nice
grin

Thanks Olivia. I was more thinking that it would allow us to use the existing smiley without it being mistaken for PA. smile
