I've just clicked through to here from Facebook and felt I had to say something. You have a picture of some form of pastry product and call it a cornish pasty. It is most definitely NOT a cornish pasty. This is a cornish pasty.
they look exactly the same
A proper pasty has a crimp, the one on the MN page is just folded over.
you mean the edges? I looked for ages before I saw it one appears chunky and the other seems to have smaller lines at a bit of an angle. And that makes the difference?what about the ones with the ridge at the top? They're not one either?Who knew it was so precise?
Well, I mean, you, obviously I meant I had no clue. I call them all cornish pasties.
Hi there Pastamancer,Thank-you for alerting us of this grievous error. We have informed the Pasty Police, who have confirmed that this is indeed a total abomination. We have therefore passed this on to the relevant team, who have assured us that this will be rectified forthwith.Abashedly yours,MNHQ
Thanks Katherine, it's only a small thing but it niggled so I had to say something. Feel free to send Dairy Milk to compensate me
