I was looking forward to the ones on the furry troll threads! But I'm just getting the equivalent of a 404 about the page being gone Sad.

I'm on iPhone 5, mobile site.

I'm been on some seriously dodgy threads before and I've never seen a deletion message . What am I missing ? (Always on iPhone app)

Deletion messages are one of the joys of Mumsnet. I didn't know they didn't come up on apps?

In what form do the come ? Do you click on the thread and only a message appears ? Or is it within the existing thread ?

You click on the thread and a message appears. They're normally easiest to find if they're in your Threads I'm On. This may be the best deletion message ever. In case the link doesn't work on the app, it says:

Thread deleted
Message from MNHQ: Now this is a story all about how
We got some reports and we took the thread down
And we'd like to take a minute
Just sit right there
We'll tell you how we try our very best to be fair

In Mumsnet Towers born and raised
On the boards was where we spent most of our days
Workin' out maxin' moddin' all cool
And all banning some trolls for bein' a fool
When a couple of goadies, who were up to no good
Started making trouble in our neighbourhood
We got a ton of reports and we didn't get scared
We said 'We're deleting this thread for breaking Talk guidelines and because we are getting a ton of reports as it is, well pretty goady - just to be fair'
