Is this the place to put it?

Please would MNHQ consider giving us a [boak] smiley.

Pretty please??

Don't people just use Envy?

ys, but then have to explain that they mean boak, not envy!

I was thinking it might be similar to Confused but green :)

Hello

Do you mean like a cheek puffed out kind of thing?

Will present this to the smiley committee and report back.

Thanks

We've historically not had a boak smiley as there are lots of folk who suffer from emetophobia

Oh the committee had said no then. Grin

Did you have a bunfight?

That's not a no.... That's a "we have never had one before"

Also, don't want one with actual vomit coming out, just one like the above :)

I do think the Envy one works and generally you know what it means through context. It's fairly regularly used and the distinction is usually clear from the conversation taking place.

As an emetophobe myself, I do think the smiley face linked is too much.

You could keep asking though. I asked for a sex topic 5 years ago and they've just made one. Grin

ha ha... well they haven't said no yet, so I'm guessing it's on the Agneda for the next Smiley Comittee meeting Grin

And besides, what about all those people with Anthophobia or Oenophobia??

We think we may just give this one a side swerve for now, as we know there are many folks who aren't keen on this and we would like to see a bit of a ground swell/ general consensus when we bring in new smileys.

Apologies 00100001 and thanks for the suggestion.

I've always found [boak] perfectly adequate. Although boak is not a word I have ever come across other than on MN so actually I wouldn't use it at all.

I'm with mermaid, it's a green heart to me too, caused all sorts of confusion once when I appeared to be vomiting at someone I was actually sending positive thoughts to!
