So sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this - we really appreciate you raising this issue.

Yes we do have some affiliate links and earn a commission from them when people click on those links and buy something. We work with a company used by lots of websites, called Skimlinks, which automatically create affiliate links from some of those posted by users.

You're quite right that we should make this clearer to users, so we've added a section to our Terms of Use. Many thanks for the suggestion and sorry again for not replying sooner.
