It was ao.com.

Is that meant to happen? I'm on an ipad.

ao.com

No - it's not done an automatic link for me.

Maybe your iPad then?

Yes, that is a link on your post Fru!

Umm, OK. It didn't do an automatic link when I Previewed, but it's now automatically linked in my post.

I know that MNHQ has instigated an automatic linky thingy, but it hadn't occurred to me that it worked that way Blush

bbc.co.uk

You know, I hate the app. But I hate mobile site even more.

Report
FruVikingessOla · 23/04/2014 19:29

Nope, that BBC link didn't work.

But I think the reason my ao.com link worked upthread was because I had linked (as in proper link ) to ao.com in a thread a bit earlier today.

Normally links open in a new tab for me, but your link doesn't, just changes the page - which i don't like at all

Was it maybe because you used capitals?

Hello

Yes links will now auto-convert unless you're on the existing app (links will work in the new app, promise)

Thanks Rowan. Tbh I don't find it too much hassle to use square brackets anyway.
