Don't pretend you don't know who he is Grin

Apparently he's in the Daily Mail now so we need a piece of him too. Especially as I have a sneaking suspicion that mumsnetters recommending him to each other is in part responsible for his mass internet fame.

We could all get our DCs to ask questions. Anyone else in favour?

Yes, that would be good. I definitely heard about Stampy here first. It saved me from the dreaded Captain Sparklez and his "holy crap"s here and "Jesus"s there, IYKWIM.

I noticed he was on the BBC website earlier in the week look so I guess that's where the Mail picked it up from.

I heard about him on here too, DS was on Zack Scott who is great on other kid-friendly games but tends to play minecraft with friends who swear, which is a shame.

Also I think stampy would be bemused by his popularity among a community of mums Grin

Wow. My DSs are also addicted to Minecraft videos - will have to ask 'em.

I've no idea whether we have an 'in' with Mr Longnose's people but we will see if we can find out.

Maybe his mum would come on as well. Isn't therea video of Stampy making a cup of tea, competitin with Squid perhaps, where his mum gives Stampy advice?

I would like to ask his mum "Will unlimited screen time make my child a millionaire, please say yes, then I can enjoy guilt free mumsnetting FOREVER"

Bertie Well, my game obsessed ds is now at uni studying games design and production, so all his years of virtual slaughter obviously weren't wasted Grin

Please, get Stampy and Squiddy on!

It is Squids' mum who gives advice.

Is it wrong of me to be very excited at the prospect of Stampy being on Mumsnet considering he's yapping away in my house for hours on end Grin

Go get him Rowan!

Great idea! Be great to have a mumsnet seal of approval award type thing for YouTube videos where they are kid friendly and don't swear! My 2 love zack Scott and stampy (love his laugh!). Although I'm sure they sometimes say damn and holy crap which I'm not too keen on .

OMG - we have the exact same kettle as Stampy. My DCs are going to be beyond excited Grin.

How much time do they spend playing vs creating tutorials?
Do they get any income or are they anti ads?
Do they feel there should be more How To videos aimed at children?
Is a digestive really a biscuit Stampy likes or just one there was available for the Tea-Off?
How many helpers do they have when making large constructions?
Is MineCraft better than Lego or do they like both?

I'm sure we can come up with loads of questions.

Actually my dd apparently does have a question for Stampy - can she please go in his love garden? Hmm.

It's a link from his Facebook page - it was about £13 delivered. Will let you know what it's like when it comes.

Sorry don't know how to link it without it going to my Facebook..
