Tried searching for something, and came back as 0 results.

Knew it wasn't the case as definitely there, so tried to search my name and came back again as 0 results.

Just me?

cozietoesie Sat 15-Feb-14 23:15:01

I just searched on you and got 291 results. Are you sure you used it correctly?

GinSoakedMisery Sat 15-Feb-14 23:22:00

Hmm, just tried it, seems it's just today it's not bringing anything up for. Most odd confused

Yes me too Gin I searched for a couple of things yesterday that came up with 0 results.

So this morning I tried searching any message from yesterday and today using the word "dc" and got 0 results hmm

Seemed to be ok up to and including Friday.

I've tried on the mobile and desktop site.

Kezzybear Sun 16-Feb-14 09:00:37

Me too. I tried to search yesterday and again today. 0 results each time.

QuinionsRainbow Sun 16-Feb-14 14:25:25

Still the same - zilch!

Sparklingbrook Sun 16-Feb-14 16:59:23

Same for me too. Weird.

GinSoakedMisery Sun 16-Feb-14 17:18:55

Very annoying. MNHQ?

Annoying isn't it?

<pointed look>

GinSoakedMisery Sun 16-Feb-14 23:02:13

Have reported my post in hope MNHQ look at it.

Nocomet Sun 16-Feb-14 23:11:26

Advanced search never works very well, you get all kinds of zombie threads and irrelevant stuff.

Showy Mon 17-Feb-14 08:19:45

Nocomet, I like advanced search. I've been here 10 years and never had a problem with it. You just have to narrow down the parameters if you're getting stuff back you don't want. Zombie threads can be eliminated, for example, if you choose the date range.

PlentyOfPubeGardens Mon 17-Feb-14 08:28:26

Yes me too. I just tested by searching 'pregnant' from yesterday to today - 0 results.

throckenholt Mon 17-Feb-14 11:59:10

MNHQ seem happy to ignore this - and my thread about it too.

Maybe they are all out paddling in the river.

Nocomet Mon 17-Feb-14 12:04:38

Yes, but the search algorithms could be way way better at phrase in thread title/ most relavent/recent, phrase appears in several posts in a thread.

They are awfully basic.

PlentyOfPubeGardens Mon 17-Feb-14 12:23:36

I'd settle for 'awfully basic' but 'basically working' smile

I've reported the thread again. It's h/t isn't it? Maybe lots of staff are on AL.

Same for me, Ad search hasn't been working properly. I seem to be having problems NCing

Hi all,

Thanks for your reports and hugest apols that we've reduced you to DM sad faces, we have no idea how we'll make it up to you.

How about we chase tech and see what they can do?

In the meantime, if you could let us know which browser you're using that'd be grand.

cake for your patience, we'll have you back to stalking searching in no time.

Showy Mon 17-Feb-14 17:30:20

TaraLott Mon 17-Feb-14 17:34:31

Anonymai Mon 17-Feb-14 17:46:30
