When can we have more than 6 pictures a day?

We're being a bit cautious at the moment, because the ability to post pictures obviously opens up a few nasty possibilities for trolls, spammers and the like. But we are keeping an eye on the situation. Does that make sense?

Surely you can troll with 1 picture? or 5? Sparkling could spam the gerbil-keepers or whatever with 6 weirdo cat pictures which would be just as frightening to them as 7, or 10, or 100.

We're more worried about spammers posting up hundreds/thousands of spammy images which we'd then have to spend hours deleting or nasty trolls posting up seriously disturbing images. Obvs one seriously disturbing image is one too many, but it's slightly better than hundreds, IYSWIM.

Once we get the Night Watch overnight-keepers-of-eye in place (which will be soon), we'll feel a bit easier about letting go of the reins a bit.

Oh, also, I can't seem to make the pictures bigger on my phone. On iPad, if I tap them they open up bigger as a sort of pop-up, but I can't make it happen on my phone (iPhone, iOS 7, Safari). Why, Rowan, whyyyy?

We have a plan for the app and hope to unveil something beautiful in the medium term. But for now, we're afraid, it might be best to use the mobile site for this sort of thing. Sorry.

I can't click on the pictures on the mobile sites either- I'm on a Samsung thing. I can see it if I go onto the desktop site, but it's a nightmare to navigate on the small screen

I would worry about seeing more Wogan pics. There's still some from clicky links that have burned into my mind
