i feel a distinct shortage of emoticons

with which to express my complex and varied conversations

I think I need
1) an evil one (pref with horns)
2) several denoting bewilderment, from mild puzzlement to downright confusion
3) a distinctly disapproving one
4) a lustful one
5) one to sum up that feeling of surprise, helplessness and terrible satisfaction felt when watching a piece of fuzzy felt going up the hoover

any more for any more?

TheHonArfy Mon 05-Jun-06 11:57:53

we definitely need confused ones
I spend most of my time on here in a state of bewilderment!

also some representation of a woman throwing her kids into a canal

Kelly1978 Mon 05-Jun-06 12:47:01

sarcastic one please

Kelly1978 Mon 05-Jun-06 12:47:18

a thud one for despair?

FrannyandZooey Mon 05-Jun-06 12:48:22

Can we have smug, please? With folded arms over a substantial bosom.

How about a "everyone on this thread except me is totally, utterly barking" emoticon?

zippitippitoes Mon 05-Jun-06 12:48:59

a repeat that again in English

MeAndMyBoy Mon 05-Jun-06 12:49:32

Oh yes please

Cappucino Mon 05-Jun-06 13:46:10

franny are you saying that those of us with a smaller bosom can't be smug?

crazydazy Mon 05-Jun-06 13:48:50

I want a stamp my foot emoticon please...

Anchovy Mon 05-Jun-06 13:50:37

I'd like a sticking my fingers down my throat emoticon for when PARP is just too subtle a response. Preferably with a gagging sound at the same time.

FrannyandZooey Mon 05-Jun-06 14:19:29

I have a very un-ample bosom, I just think having a large one would help me feel even smugger.

Tortington Mon 05-Jun-06 14:24:24

ignore all other posts except this one

we dont want tooo many emoticons it looks like a fcking cartoon. however i request immediatley a "raised eyebrow" smiley. i often have cause to use it and it would help me cut down on words - which i am sure you will agree is rather a blessing

peace out

Cappucino Mon 05-Jun-06 14:29:10

so everyone else's emoticon but yours custardo?

Tortington Mon 05-Jun-06 14:37:30

exactly - if there was a raised eyebrow emoticon in this situation - i would use it.

thank you capp

Generally I think the less emoticons the better, but have long felt that an eye-rolling one would be very useful.

YellowFeathers Mon 05-Jun-06 14:43:05

Eye rolling is a must!

Cappucino Mon 05-Jun-06 14:45:48

well if people are worried about too many emoticons then we could always get rid of envy

it is a deadly sin after all. and we're all far too mature for it surely?

Also one depicting a drink. Twiglett did suggest one with [gin] at one point.
