Do you think Wills and Kate will stick to usual protocol and go for something traditional (Alexandra is currently hot fave at the bookies)? Maybe they'll pick up the trend for 40s/50s retro (princess Barbara)? Or strike out for something truly modern (baby South Windsor)?

We're inviting you to join our guess the royal baby name competition. Each poster is allowed one male and one female name guess, including middle names. The person closest to the royal baby's actual name will win a fantastic bundle of children's books, including The Royal Nappy by Nicholas Allan and Shh! Don't Wake the Royal Baby by Martha Mumford and Ada Grey. If more than one poster guesses correctly we'll pull names out of a hat. Good luck!

I think Mary Elizabeth Anne, though do wonder if they'll shoehorn Diana in there too.

Arthur William Philip for a boy.

Though I think they should go for something rakish and daring like Rafferty and Indigo. Or at least tell the press that's what they've picked.
