As many of you will know, Mumsnet Local has been going for a while now and many of the sites - particularly those with Local Editors looking after them - are now brilliant hubs for their local communities, offering information, advice and friendship.
So, in celebration of all the great work going into them - and all the fantastic advice and information they provide - we thought we'd draw your attention to some of the brightest and busiest sites around the country via a weekly Q&A with a local editor and her site users. First up is Selena, editor of Mumsnet Bristol, who this week points out the best that her city has to offer, from vintage clothes shops to art galleries and - crucially -"incredible monkfish".
Take a look and, as this week's our first go , please let us know if there are any other questions you'd like us to put to the Local Eds - as a local, or as a visitor, what's the most important piece of information about an area from your pov?
Oh, and if you'd like to become a Local Editor yourself, email [email protected] with 'local editor role' in the subject field, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
thanks!
