I've been on mumsnet quite a few weeks now, and I'm of the obvious disability that I'm neither straight nor a parent, but I've tried to ask questions in the forum which enspire answers.
I love this website. Although it is deleted now I posted a thread on how great mumsnet is.
I'm a 25yr gay male unhappy with how his life has turned out thus far. I want to contribute to your site, if you will let me. I have had the terrible childhood and I'm even to this day having a relationship where I have to constantly find be the 'happy gay'.
I hope you will consider me as a person who is not written off and worth within the inner circle x
Hello, I like your name. Don't worry about feeling introduced. Just jump in. You definitely don't have to be a woman or a parent or straight. there are hundreds of people on here and everyone has such different experiences . That's one of the best things about it. It would be a bit shit if everyone thought in the same way and agreed with each other.
I love MN. I think it's very supportive and I like the fact that huge issues are discussed along side the best place to buy name tapes.
I love the fact that there's none of that introduce yourself malarkey. I went on a different site a while ago where the introduction was expected but it led to too much nosiness. Where do you live? what's your inside leg measurement? blah blah blah. Far too insular and cliquey. Here you just dive in and nobody cares who you are, it's great.
