'ParentPort' folder - not used 'right'

I've just been in the ParentPort folder and there are all sorts of random posts, nothing to do with what the blurb says it's for....and people's posts are not getting anything like the help they'd get if they knew mumsnet had loads more folders which would be a far better fit for their question.

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/parentport

MNHQ: we discussed this before and someone suggested people were coming to the folder from somewhere else on the internet, and not seeing the rest of the site. With ParentPort the first listed folder in that category, people are posting there and missing out on the great support available elsewhere :(

How odd I thought this the other week when doing the unanswered messages thing.

I assumed it was for people involved on Pp and not for mere Mumsnetters at first.

I have pointed someone board-wards from there and I agree, it offends my tidiness.

MNHQ, Chaos is GAGGING for a job. Could you not make her Tidy Monitor for the week? moving aibu posts that should be in Chat/topics and herding lost souls from ParentPort?

Weasel because you use the topics appropriately don't you? You'd never dream of taking over a topic and filling it with inappropriate conversation would you?

Hello. Thanks for the tip-off, Tiktok - we'll take a look.

Just so you know, we were asked to create that Talk topic by the ParentPort folk, as part of our involvement with the Bailey Report. There are links on the ParentPort site, I believe, that lead folks to this topic - and maybe some folks arriving here from there don't realise that MN has about a zillion other Talk topics. We'll def investigate a bit...

That's pretty much the only interview question, tbh.

Well, apart from 'What biscuits do you like?"

Excuse me Sue

I believe I demanded asked for that job many moons a short while ago.

I am the neatest of neat freaks and will sort the topics with a large lump hammer great discretion and organisation skills, if only they would let me.

I think actually I am owed a stipend by the HQ. Today I have sorted them a runner (nice X Factor counting man, when the season ends) AND suggested Chaos to help out. And now Maryzed is offering too!
I am Available for recruitment missions. Say the word.

I was asked in an interview for a proper job 'if you were a biscuit which one would you be and why?'

I was so infuriated i almost punched the interviewer and fucked up the other questions.

Needless to say i didn't get the job and wouldn't have taken it if i had been.
