My keyboard won't work on MN, can anyone help?

For some reason my laptop keyboard won't work on MN. I am having to write out my posts and copy and paste them into MN, I'm not sure what I have done.... It's fine everywhere else

Any suggestions gratefully received!

will do! now I can insert text in the middle of a sentence and add text on the end of something but i cant start an independent sentence on the next line!!

mn its so very very odd!!!! have had to type this bit in another program as I still cant start a new box. but I can keep on typing once some text is in the box.

Oh I'll try that too..... yes I can add to the previous bit. I'm actually glad it's happening to someone else! It was driving me potty.

I reported the thread to mn and tech are looking into it for us. I'm glad I'm not the only one too - saves me trying to do drastic things to the pc (which inevitably I'll regret)

chrome 14.0.835.163 m Olivia. Thanks for lookin at this - going to try with firefox.

ok - its fine with firefox :) phew! no longer my browser of choice but it will do for the mo.
The issue must be with that version of chrome as I have the same on both my netbook and pc and it was exactly the same issue on both.

Ok, I just checked my version number again and it got me to update.

I'm now on 14.0.835.186 (no "m" or any other letter after it). So maybe try clicking on the little spanner and checking "About Chrome" in case it updates you?

yes!!! thank you Suzi! Didnt work earlier this am with my old version, but it did update when I checked the version and now its back to normal. Hooray!

Mine's working now. Try Uninstalling and adding again Moanna.

For some reason mine wouldn't do an update and uninstalling fixed that.

Now mine isnt working with chrome again despite having the new version of chrome! silly annoying thing.
