Soni don't need to hide twisluts, avid clothes people, threadkillers, alcoholics and divorced people threes like every day?

I thought it was a good idea someone had.

I think the decision was that they should stay where they were as new people wouldn't get to them. I think that;s a shame.

Do people really gobon them though? Surely they'd see a thread " I am I twi slut"(boggles) and say " oh hi cone and join our thread.

Or "help I am a divorcing person who like a drunk and making lists" they say " oh come on our threads/s"

yes you're probably right. Also they could have a sticky at the top of each topic saying "Like Twilight? Join us here" etc.

Although I have no idea what "gobon" is, sounds rude :o

Sounds like a good idea. As a newbie, I feel way too scared to join any of those threads anyway. Bit like gatecrashing a party.

I mentioned this on another thread but was suitably ignored by HQ.

just hide "relationships", that stops all the divorce/he's leaving me stuff. and hide "mental health" that stops all the alcoholism/ what drugs are you on for depression stuff.

As for all the wanky cliquey threads, I have to hide them individually....damn nuisanse tbh.

at least it is easier now you don't have to open them first

It was my idea, and tbh I am more for it now i am using mobile mn on my iphone a lot & can't hide threads.

One of mnhq did come on and ask if it was wanted but there was no consensus.

I don't know about this, myself. Not sure I posted on the other topic.

40+ Mummies, for example, recently picked up several new members and we are on our 11th thread (since we started counting) and have been going for at least 2.5 - 3 years, based on the age of the oldest children who were born on thread.

If it was tucked away somewhere, 40+ mummies would never find it!

But people could still go into 'Quiche Corner' (Grin) and see if there is a thread they fancy joining. plus you find that when people post about something they are often directed to relevant threads.

I have always wondered about 40+ mummies.
is that just mums that are over 40 or mums that have babies and are over 40

Report
Tee2072 · 26/10/2010 19:05

Both 2shoes. Although it started out in pregnancy with people 40+ having babies, it has now moved to chat and added members who are 40+ with older children.
