Sex

To ask if any other woman is only able to come once?

Name changed for obvious reasons.

In my youth, and I means teens, I have a memory of coming twice a few times but my whole adult life I've felt very much 'like a bloke' in the sense that I come once and once I do I lose interest in continuing sex.

I don't see it as a bad thing as my partner is great and we have a lot of foreplay before PIV and it always hits the spot so to speak.

So it's not an issue.

I was just wondering if anyone else is like this.

I read so much of women constantly having multiple orgasms and wonder why I'm not like that.

I only ever come once masturbating, then it feels like it’s over. I’ll come several times during sex though.

I can occasionally go a second time but I need a short break in between.

I’ve always been that way.
Other than on one very rare occasion that I remember but never before and never since

Same as you OP. I often become overly sensitive and ticklish after so more foreplay is just not going to work. It's happened a few times that I've come more than once, but it's pretty rare.

Why don't you put this in the sex topic? Why is it in AIBU and why are you asking others about their sex life like this? It's a bit weird.

I'm not asking about anyone's sex life.

I'm not asking for details.
Just a question about biological anatomy.

Perhaps the female body is just over glorified as this multiple orgasm machine in the media and I've bought I to that too much and am feeling a little inadequate?

I guess I wanted reassurance that I am still within the wide spectrum of 'normal' and not disfunctional.

Once in a year :-) ?

It is possible to come twice, maybe more, but with an interval. However it sounds like you have a very good sex life which is great.

Some people say multiple orgasm when what they mean is a lot of spasms at orgasm. They do vary, some last longer than others.

I think it's all about your state of mind. Generally just once for me.

On reflection this probably isn't the most appropriate topic to post but I didn't think people were still so uptight over the word orgasm that it would cause offence 🙄

I don't intend to discuss my sex life here, not because because I'm "uptight over the word orgasm"*, but because I feel it's only my and one other very lucky person's business Smile

However, I think it's only in various sorts of fiction and porn that all women are perceived as having frequent multiple orgasms.
Maybe change your reading matter?

*Although I don't like it used as a verb for some reason. "I orgasmed" rather than "I came" sounds odd and awkward to say to me.
That's about as far as I'll go in discussing my sex life/preferences Smile

What exactly on this thread is wank fodder in your eyes?

The word orgasm? Surely if I was a pervert I would be off somewhere watching porn not asking a mundane question with absolutely no details or lurid descriptions Confused

I'm actually going to hide this thread now. I'm not in the mood to be called a troll yawn

My god
A woman can’t ask a simple question without being accused of being a troll.
Troll hunting isn’t allowed on mumsnet.
Sex makes the world go round. Everybody does it. Sex sex sex sex sex . Orgasm orgasm. There I said it.
Now come and wank on my post, all you perverts.

It would be better in the sex topic though

TheQueef · 30/09/2019 10:19

The sex topic is better for sex topics because you have to been a mnet member for a time it stops wankers registering and starting a frap thread.
If it's in sex then the responses are better.

People can actually be wanking over your posts from afar regardless of which topic you post in.
If you post in style with a pic of your shoes you may have thousands of foot fetishers having a wanking party somewhere. You just don’t know.

It doesn't cause offence, but there is a long history of people asking apparently 'innocent' questions for information which are essentially a way of getting women to provide details of their own sexual experience -- for whatever ends. See also posts on toilet training, whether your parents' spanked you etc.

So another thing men have ruined for women?

We can't even post on a mums support board about anything slightly intimate because there's a load of wanking trolls about to spoil it.

Urgh.

There is presumably a reason why MN only allow posts on the SEX topic by people who've been regular site users for at least 90 days. So I think it's pretty reasonable to be suspicious of someone posting about sex with no very little posting history. Many of us are aware of the teenage girl/periods, toddler potty training trolls and these days I'm far more cautious about commenting on these very personal types of thread (especially when they appear on AIBU).

Wasps. I've been here for 14 years. Under one name or another.

Well, then, you'll be able to post on the sex topic where people can focus on your question, rather than wonder about your motivation.
