Loss of sexual feeling

I am 50 so am assuming this is age related.
Up until a few weeks ago everything was as normal, enjoyed sex, easily aroused in masturbation. Now - nothing. There is simply no feeling.
I do not understand, nothing has changed, I'm not on anti-depressants, not stressed. It's just like that part of me has died and I want it back!!! Should I see my GP about it, or is there anything out there which may help?

Really quite common for ladies of your age ( Mother Nature 😏) some get the “ sex surge “ and some get “ loss of response and feeling “ .....HRT and especially Testosterone helps some ( not all ) , but obviously check with your GP ( who probably won’t have a clue ) .

OOH I just posted on another thread: my friend has tried an amino acid for her eczema and one of side effects is her libido going through the roof (before that she was a take it or leave it kinda girl)
It’s called NAC you can google it, pretty sure places like Holland and Barrett sell it.
Good luck and try hrt if you’re not already on it.
I’m mid 40s but started early menopause, I’m on a ‘naturally’ occurring hrt called Sandrena. I get it through gp, its more expensive than the ones they prescribe as standard, I was fortunate that I saw a specialist (free) who wrote to my gp. Pm me if you want his details, he’s Nhs and Bristol based.

Thank you!
I will definitely try the NAC, see if that works for me too!
I have no (other) symptoms of menopause whatsoever so don't want to start HRT or anything unnecessarily as I may well need it desperately before too long.

hatty good luck, would love to hear how you get on.
I’m not in any kind of relationship at the moment so I’d be content with reduced libido right now to keep me out of trouble!
My friend said that NAC has loads of benefits so might look into it anyway and see what else it could support.

Definitely see your GP - it probably is hormonal but there are medical conditions that can cause loss of sensation. Is it just loss of sexual sensation or do you actually have numbness / loss of feeling generally? I'm sure it's nothing like that but definitely worth a chat x
