Clitoral erection and orgasm

Is it necessary for a woman to have a full blown clitoral erection in order to reach orgasm or is it just simply far more likely?

Well if they dont have a massive boner you're probably doing wrong anyway, so nothing will happen

IME there are a number of nerves around the vagina that can stimulate orgasms. There is of course the eurethal sponge area that when stimulated with fingers or a vibe can create orgasm. There are also the pudendal nerves either side of the vagina and between the anus that when stimulated can have an orgasmic effect. There is also the g spot orgasm and the cervical orgasm. Does the clitoris have to be erect and stimulated when attention is being paid to these area's are being? not necessarily, of course the clitoris will normally be erect and full because of stimulation in these other area's, but does not need to be touched to release orgasm. A woman can reach orgasm by nipple stimulation and even by massaging the g spot from the area of her stomach externally. If you require a perfunctory orgasm i.e. a tension release, then clitoral stimulation is probably the quickest and yes it needs to be erect.

Shit, I honestly even know that was a thing... & I've managed quite a few in my time!

A clitoris will not look or behave like a penis so don't expect it to.

Thanks all for your input. I did my research on the structure of the clitoris ,both theory and practice, many years ago and am still doing the practical !

My last partner started our relationship by using a clitoral stimulator a lot during sex. I slowly weaned her off it as i think she had become desensitised due to over use.

She now always has full blown and very firm and obvious clitoral erections and almsor always achieves orgasm which of course is mutually fulfilling.
