So I'm seeing someone new! We spent the weekend together and when we were having sex ( well actually more like foreplay any this stage) I got serious pins and needles lol in my hands, on my face but very very strong! I felt like I couldn't feel my hand atall it was numb!

Has anyone else had this? I have had lots of sex over the years (very little recently)) and never felt this before!

You do hear of people getting tingly legs/arms after a particularly good orgasm.

Was he or were you squashing your arm or were you in an uncomfortable position? That could have done it.

Otherwise I would just keep an eye on it tbh, I had 'tinkly limbs' a few years back and had to go for an MRI to check for MS Confused.

(Don't want to terrify you, it's probably not that, but go to docs if it becomes a regular thing).

Thank you for the reply. We were not squishing my arm or anything!

I know it sounds silly but I'm not sure if it was an organism or not ConfusedHmm

It was a strong sensation on pins and needles I even felt it on my face?

Was your pins and needles during sex or just in the normal part of a day?

Did you feel stressed or nervous? It sounds like it could have been a stress reaction to me but if it happens again I think you should see your GP.

I don't think I was stressed or particularly nervous!

Very odd Hmm

Mine was at different times during the day, worse when I was tired/hungover or stressed.

Nerves are funny things, if it keeps happening just mention it to your GP.

Hopefully it's just your new dp being awesome in bed.

Were you breathing heavily? That can cause it. I think you'd know if you had an orgasm strong enough to make you feel tingly afterwards Wink

Oh, this happened to me once! It was horrendous, really strong pins and needles in my arms and face and then they went numb and I couldn't move them. Went to see the doctor about it and she said it was likely to be related to my migraines.

Could you have been hyperventilating? It can happen when you have been, for example breathing shallowly whilst aroused!
