Am I the only human being who never feels lust?

For another person, I mean. People who have one night stands etc, because they feel lust towards the other person (totally not judging, I just never felt it myself so can't understand it). Seeing someone and just that person alone makes you want to be physical with them? I've never had that, in 31 years. I get turned on by some porn, etc. But I've never looked at a guy, or woman for that matter, and felt stirrings or lust or desire. My husband I find very attractive, but I've never felt lust etc simply by touching him - why am I seemingly the only human being that feels like this? Everyone else I know feels desire for at least someone. I'm 31, and have never felt this for another human being. I guess I'm just abnormal.

I don't think you are the only one, I'm sure a lot of people feel the same. I don't think I feel lust by just looking at someone, I feel lust after talking to someone and if we flirt together ( they have to be attractive too ), I can do one night stands or sex on the first date but it's never a good idea. I'm more ate acted by someone's personality than their looks so can't just look at someone stood at a bar and thing 'I want to sleep with them'.

I've never been in a bar and felt like that. Do u feel good about yourself? If I'm having a fat day or bad hair day I tend to it feel attractive which can block lust for me

What does make you feel lust? (Presumably you do feel this at times since you have identified its absence for you from visual stimulation, and you said you found your H very attractive.)

I wouldn't say that most people look at a person and immediately become aroused. I'd say there's an "attraction factor" if you like, and then after getting to know the person (briefly, in the case of a one night stand!) and the right circumstances, e.g. having a snog, you start to feel the arousal.

Otherwise men would be walking around with semi-permanent boners, right? And women would be changing their knickers three times a day

Moopymoodle, Porn does turn me on, but I think because I have SUCH hangups over men/people I just turn cold at the thought of actual human beings, maybe that's why, thinking about it...no I don't feel good about myself I think because every male in my family has left/cheated on their female partner, plus strange men have called me ugly, my now-husband slept with some really pretty ladies, I don't know...I've just never felt that lust they show in movies?

you may be asexual, or demisexual. 1% of the population are asexual. that is a LOT of people who never feel lust. Then there is the entire spectrum between asexual and hetero/homo/bi sexual as well.
