Has your child completed a science, technology, engineering or mathematics project?

Can they communicate their ideas clearly and effectively?

The National Science and Engineering Competition is seeking the UK's most talented young scientists and engineers between the ages of 11 and 18. This competition, coordinated by the British Science Association in partnership with Young Engineers, offers the best students the opportunity to attend the finals at the exciting Big Bang Fair in March 2010. Great prizes are up for grabs!

Hi Milliways,
Please do encourage him to enter!

Hi bruffin,
Yes, the deadline is 30th October - it is mainly aimed at students who have already done a project for school or for any other reason.
Any project carried out between 1st July 2008 and 30th October 2009 can be entered.
