GHS/Guildford High School help

My daughter is going to Guildford High School in September for Year 7. Could any current parents give me an insight into the school from the inside? What are we to expect? Friendly parents? How approachable are the teachers? The pastoral care? Have you had an experience of bullying? How was it handled if so? Would love any input to reassure us of our decision. A current parent through a mutual friend unsettled us and now we are feeling a bit at sea. Thanks so much in advance.

Hi,

I have girls at the school that have attended since reception. One going into Y7 in September.

My experience is that the parents are really nice and so are the girls.

My girls genuinely LOVE the school and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The school was brilliant through lockdown. Very organised and did a great job.
