If you dont get the greycoat aptitude test, can you still apply for a normal place?

Yes of course. You would be applying under the faith or open (distance) criteria.

Wait! I assumed you were talking about the language aptitude place?

If you are talking about the banding test, really you need to sit it as they won't consider applicants who haven't sat it unless there are spare places (which there won't be) left after allocating places to those who did sit the banding test.

I meant the language aptitude

Then yes, you can still apply for a faith or open place. You'll need to do the fair banding test as well, I guess you register for that after submitting your application online (and the SIF).

Did you get your language test results? We are waiting to see if DD got a place.

I don't remember getting the results until after the form needs to be submitted.
But that could just been our slow postal delivery!

Good luck
