I am a current parent - girls in UC5 and LC2 and wondered if any other parents out their able to share experiences of how the College is handling things for teaching and learning during the crisis? Have a few concerns and would love to know how others are finding things given the huge amount we are paying this term for zero attendance, etc.

I had and have no concerns at all - SFC2, there since LC1. Full class load, work marked/reviewed, as much info as possible about the process replacing A-levels including on-line meetings; and all extras were taught on line until A-levels would have started, since then there have been university classes and access to all sorts of lectures on line. I think the fee reduction has been fair for boarding (can't speak to day) since all teaching support has been provided and there have been other staff available to deal with eg UCAS issues. I don't see what more could have been done.

That's fantastic. I think my girls just been difficult to motivate and i wanted give space whilst still encouraging. Have to say EJY is a total inspiration for empowering girls - she truly is a Principal who smashes it every time. So pleased your daughter thriving. She Board or Day?

I have been very impressed with online learning and pastoral care. Work is marked and returned, teachers available for follow up, new material covered and regular topic tests. Pastoral guidance from academic tutors and housemistress. My DD is in 4s. She's been very motivated throughout the term and well supported by the school. I think they've done a good job.
