Hi everyone
Many apologies if this has been posted before I have done a quick search and couldn't see anything.
I just wondered what is likely to happen this year with regards to secondary school appeals? I am completing one to send off in the next couple of days for my twins but wondered if anyone knows what is likely to happen with appeals and hearings etc in light of the current situation? Many thanks

Admission Authorities are waiting for the government to make decisions over this as it is going to be a real problem if they cannot start them by the end of April.
As you have a legal right to appeal, unless they change the law then appeals will have to happen but this may well be in some changed format to allow for both the time scale and the virus issues which will still be a problem.

Indeed - our LEA is contemplating hearing them on paper only if it proves impossible to convene in person, but nothing has been decided or even really considered practically at the moment.
