Hi
Looking at options for my sporty, not massively academic son (aged 12).
Currently at a small prep school (class size of 3 at the moment amazingly) which is shutting down certain years so need to move this September.
Offers from both King Edwards and LVS Ascot and would appreciate any latest views on either school please ?

Where do you live? I live about half-way between the two and KESW is pretty good for public transport. I probably wouldn't put a hugely academic child there but I liked it when I looked round and a few of DS's friends went there from the local area and his last school. LVS seems to have some feedback on it which I'd want to look into to be honest.

Thanks GU24 Mum
We live near Woking so, as you say, quite easy to get to KESW either by train or school bus.
I like the facilities there but actually wasn't that keen on the previous head - they have replaced him with a warmer, more nurturing lead so I've got a better feeling about it (they seem to have a reputation as a school that thought they were a cut above what they actually were).
I really liked LVS - all our interactions have been very positive - very kind and professional people, good feedback from some parents, a very wide curriculum etc but it is a real pain to get to from here.
My son has mild dyslexia but is doing pretty well - he is very sociable and very sporty and works hard as well - I think KESW might be OK for him but was concerned that there isn't much up to date feedback on the school from parents.
Thanks again

If you're near Woking, you're probably very close to us!

Thanks again - are there any parents of KESW you could put me in touch with ?
