KCS vs CLS 13+ entry: feedback

We will return to UK after an extended overseas stint. Both our sons were born abroad a year apart and have not been in the UK schooling system till now.
One has offer at KCS and the other at CLS through the 13+ exams. Seeking advice and pointers on the two schools.
Appreciate any inputs, thanks in advance!

Just to clarify, both a year apart for 13+ deferred entry.
Younger son received KCS offer this year (still awaiting CLS results). Elder son received CLS offer from last year, didn't get in KCS.

hi deep50, two outstanding schools, so DS1 and DS2 extremely fortunate. Personally, for what is worth it, would try to keep them together at CLS as support for each other, giving that their lives are changing so much already... Our family has been through a similar situation, as we have lived in four different countries...

KCS is less urban than CLS and is probably better for sport if that is something that is important to your DSs. Something else to consider is the fact that KCS is coed in the 6th form and also offers IB as well as A Levels which international parents tend to favour. I have a DS in KCS and am delighted with the school so highly recommend it (and am probably a bit biased!)
