Parliament Hill cut off distance

DD seems to have set her heart on here (and us parents are keen too). For 2017 and 2018 we would just make the cut off but this year it was 1.2 miles on offer day. I know girls who got places at later dates but am wondering if anyone DD got a place on later offers and how far you are from the school. Or does anyone know the cut off as of September?

They had gone to about 1.5 miles by September. They were inundated this year, the waiting list went down to the mid-50s before the start of term. Lots of very disappointed families!

That gives me some hope so thank you! She would definitely have got in on distance for 2018. That said it would be for 2021 entry (current Y5) and I'm not sure of the birth rate had reduced by then or not....
It definitely seems the best fit for her out of those we've seen.

Good luck. I also hear they had a record number of first choices this year, which oexplains the lack of movement in the waiting list. It's clearly getting more and more popular.

Thank you. We're doing a lot of the leg work this year and will look at order of preferences next year.

Just reading through the info we got at the open event and noticed this which says the distance was 1.67miles? I don't assume it means for any other criteria.

Interesting, to be fair that distance I gave was from August I think, so clearly it moved. To give you an idea though, the previous year the last place offered by distance before 1st September was 7.67 miles, the year before that 2.14.

I know it will be out of our hands so all we can do is put it on the form and hope for the best! And make sure we have a good more likely to get a place school.
