Hi there would love to hear from mums who got into Kew house with their presentation topics. I believe the presentation is a big party to play in the entry. Would be interesting to find out what sort of things were presented? Thank you

The mums have to present a topic? That’s bizarre.

We were waitlisted
The presentations were on anything & everything. DS did a presentation on Geocaching. Others did spiders, pet dog, rocks, a cookery hobby, Lego & one did Da Vinci.
Lovely school but no offers amongst my circle of friends..a HUGE proportion of the offers go to the 2 feeder schools (have a look at their websites and count the offers) and they also have a siblings policy (many of which are not in the feeders). This a fair enough as the two preps were instrumental in the demand for Kew being established. We all got waitlisted but the list only started moving very late and after pressure to accept offers from other schools who offered early, were oversubscribed and filled up on a first come first serve basis.
I'd add that many of those who got waitlisted were good all round & academically able kids. It was a disappointing experience. Good luck though - fab school.

DD was luckily offered a place (she was not at a feeder). Her presentation was on her cats! I don’t really think what they present matters, it’s more about how they engage with the interviewer. They usually go in in groups of 2 or 3. Good luck!

Hello
We received a waiting list place this morning which is lively as we really like KH. Now the long wait to see what comes of it.
Can anyone tell me what the Sen provision is day to day for kids with dyslexia ? Is there an assistant along side teachers in all classes or is the provision outside of the normal classes ?
Another random question - anyone know if there is a decent size group going from Clapham junction everyday ? Thank you for any replies, really useful.
