Helloooooo!!

Two more weeks. 11 more exams (7 of which are this week and they are all biggies, who the hell scheduled this?)

And then no more school uniform ever again, so today we did a bit of charity shopping to boost DD2's wardrobe. She is currently revising maths.

Sorry just to follow up a comment on the previous thread.....

It is a lovely thread Grin

I was a bit of a lurker initially because I was worried it might end up a bit "competitive" iyswim.

As it is it's been a lovely and supportive place to chat/share/offload and is like to thank everyone involved for making it that way Wine

Hello!
Just wanted to say onaroll how lovely your DS is planning that surprise for DD - you should be very proud.

I will be spending the night biting my nails and shouting at the tv as I watch the champions league final. If I'm on here a great deal you can surmise its not going well for me! Grin

Doh - well that's me failing English Language Grin

What I meant to say was: "I'd like to thank"

Oh!
I thought I posted on the other thread but obv not...
How lovely onaroll what a fabulous lad you have there x
Agree it's a lovely thread.
This is such a pivotal time for our kids and it's so nice to have somewhere to "offload" our worries, frustrations and difficulties.

Ooh I’ve found you again!

I’m not entirely sure how Monday is going to go

Dd’s body isn’t used to actually functioning before midday 😳

My ds has 9 exams left and after a super start I think he's losing his mojo.

My other ds is mid a levels and it's all horrendous quite frankly!

Oh dear God dd asked me to test her for history and it was AWFUL! Panicking now. I feel she hasn't revised right, only ever reading through things, and too easily distracted, but she never wanted any advice or guidance, just kicked off when I tried.
Now it's apparently my fault for not asking the right questions when I literally took them from the revision booklets given to her by school...
Aaaaargh and it's too late to fix now 😩

Having said that, the amount of topic for just one topic seems completely insane ShockConfusedSad

We’ve got this far in a calm determination but history is turning dd into an absolute wreck 🙁

Dd wants to take history for A level 😩

DD had a booster lesson for English for 4 hours today.
She has not got to go to any lessons between exams for the next two weeks but there are lots of special boosters they can attend before during and after school.
The teachers are really pulling the stops out for them to make up what was missed last year(supply teachers not keeping up with the curriculum especially English).
