Ada Lovelace CoE High School: opinions?

Based on our address, our son is likely to obtain a place there from this September. He has an offer from a independent school too. We're motivated to send him to a state school if it is likely to be at least reasonable (in terms of behavior and academic results) rather than going down the independent route.

I know that the school is only in its first year of operation, but I'm curious to hear from current parents or from parents who are considering to send their children there.

Although the school is only in its first year it is part of the Twyford Trust, which is now 4 schools in Ealing, after they were asked to take over Ealing Fields.
Ada Lovelace currently based at William Perkin, so look at that and Twyford itself before you make a decision.

I would go for it if your independent choice is the co-ed one in Ealing, if you compare William Perkins or Twyford results, they are par or better, and I am sure the teaching will be better. However if your independent choice is an academic one, then it's a more tricky decision.

Thanks for the replies! Yes, I've seen the results of the other Twyford Trust schools, which suggest that capable pupils can perform well. Let's hope that the Ada Lovelace pupils will be achieving at least similar results.
