Whitgift school? Poetry on the 11+

Hi, I was looking at the specimen paper for Whitgift and it had poetry for the comprehension rather than an extract from a novel. I looked at the specimen paper for the 13+ and it also had poetry. Is this standard for Whitgift's 11+? Do they have prose in some years?

If I had a lot of time to prepare I would do a lot of poetry prep but exams are in a couple of weeks!

Hi cucumber, it has been poetry at both 11 and 13 for a while now. I'd be surprised if it isn't in Jan.
